What is a Registered Agent

Description of a Registered Agent and why business owners need one.

Each state requires that you maintain a Registered Agent in the state in which your corporation is formed and the states in which you're qualified to do business. The Registered Agent is responsible for making sure all legal process is forwarded to you in a timely manner.

At Laughlin, going above and beyond isn't an exception, it's the rule. We will be more than just your Registered Agent company.

Your Registered Agent must:

Be a resident of the state of incorporation.
Maintain a physical address within that state.
Be available to accept service of process on behalf of the corporation during standard business hours.

Forwarding your legal and tax documents in a timely manner.
Notifying you of changing rules and regulations.
The proper documentation to keep your company in good standing with the Secretary of State.

Registered Agent Renewal $460.00 Fees include: $135 Yearly Renewal Price * $125 Nevada State Filing Fee (minimum). Fee may vary * $200 Nevada State Business License Fee RENEWING: If you wish to file your list on-line you must complete the order process by 4:00 p.m. they day your list is due. Failure to do so will result in a $175.00 late fee imposed by the Secretary of State.
